Truly impressive compleet comprehensive body-off restauration, in stricking colour combination !
No expences spared to this nut and bolt restauration with tasteful upgrades such as a 6-cylinder Turbo Diesel, the 5-speed overdrive transmission, ice-cold A/C etc.
The interior is absolutely clean, top to bottom.
The base car was a practically rustfree low milage unit that was completely stripped down, new professional paint inside/out, the frame was sandblasted, zink coated and powdercoated in the Original factory colour, copper brake line etc.
The 6-cylinder Turbo Diesel was low milage as well as is the 5-speed transmission and transfercase.
This vehicle only covered 293 Kilimeters for testing, since restauration.
The upgraded engine fits like a glove and it all looks like it was done by Mercedes.
Off course no electronics to the engine since it features the mechanical pump !
In closing this is a gorgeous, well cared for special G-class, in impacable condition, inside and out, and will make his new owner very proud !
A lot of effort and detail went into this stunning frame-off restauration, and custom build, combined with all the upgrades will make it stand out well above the others out there.
